“ I had tried a Cuban restaurant that had excellent reviews and thought it must have been an off night because it was so bad. Now I have to take a group to a Cuban restaurant and I was hesitant to go to El Cubanito. I did not know what to expect having read so many bad reviews. I called in advance to let the staff know I was bringing a group but did not know how large. They were so cheerful and upbeat I was sold. So our group arrives. Everyone ordered sandwiches or meals and everyone enjoyed their food. The service was punctual and the restaurant smelled and felt clean. I would absolutely recommend El Cubanito! ”
“ Came here with my family. It was 5 of us. Sorry I forgot to take pictures of what we ordered. To start we ordered the fried Yuca with the garlic sauce. Yuca was tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. I ordered the pedacitos de pork (fried pork chunks) with onions. My sides were Arroz Moro and Tostones. The pork was very tender and flavorful. The amount was good I couldn't finished it all. My Son in Law had white rice, black beans and Chicharrones de Pollo (fried chicken chunks) he said it was very good. Chicken was juicy and tender. Daughter had Chicharrones de Pollo (fried chicken chunks) and Yuca hervida al mojo (boiled Cassava in a garlic sauce) the Yuca was very good and the mojo with onions was very good also. Son had Tostones and the Pork chops. No complaints from him Daughter in Law had the Lechon asado (roast pork) Maduros (sweet fried plantains) and yellow rice. I had a bite of her lechon and it was very good. My grand-daughter who is 3 had a little bit of everything her Mom did order a Guava juice and that was very good. This place for those Sunday's when you feel like not cooking then this it's the place to be. The ambiance was quiet for a Sunday. The place is very clean and not too big nor small. The waitress was very polite and patient with us. I'm in Fort Pierce but definitely the 25 minute drive was all worth it. ”

Everyone enjoyed their meals; another had the pork chunks, another had a special that included lechon, chicken breast and steak; another had shrimp. Service was stellar and nice. Nice family place with yummy food! We'll be back! ”
